On the morning of January 8, the 2018 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing. Party and state leaders such as Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Wang Huning and Han Zheng attended the meeting. The "key technology and application project of spatiotemporal information service platform of complex large power grid" jointly completed by Forever Technology and State Grid Information and Communication Industry Group Co., Ltd. won the second prize of national science and technology progress award.

The project revolves around the key issues of the complex large-scale grid geospatial and electrical space, the difficulty of unified representation of dynamic elements, the difficulty of real-time reconstruction of dynamic grid topology information, and the difficulty of efficient and reliable updating of heterogeneous information. The project proposes a real-time reconstruction method for spatio-temporal topology of complex large power grids, constructs a reliable and efficient updating technology system for grid resources based on Beidou system, and develops a complex large-scale space-time information service platform with complete independent intellectual property rights. The National Grid Geographic Information Service Network based on the unified space-time reference CGCS2000 fully supports the most complex and largest grid visualization and refined and efficient management of the world's largest structure. The project results have been applied to the State Grid Headquarters, 27 provincial power companies and prefecture-level units, and promoted in some countries along the “Belt and Road”.
